Helping our members with their financial health is our passion, but a close second is community involvement. That’s why we’re the title sponsor again of Member One’s City Market Saturdays from May 13 to September 30, 2017.

This free, family-friendly event features produce and treats from local farmers, handmade crafts, art, and more every Saturday in the Historic City Market in Downtown Roanoke from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. On June 17, July 8, August 19, and September 30, Member One representatives will be on-site.

A portion of Member One’s funding will help sustain the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), now available for use at the Historic Roanoke City Farmers’ Market. Visitors who are on Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT)/SNAP can purchase tokens and receive a dollar-to-dollar match, up to $10 per person, per day. For each $1 purchased, recipients will get an additional $1 EBT/SNAP credit to use with the various Historic City Market vendors.

Other events at Member One’s City Market Saturdays include live entertainment, “How-to” Workshops, cooking demonstrations, family days, and much more. For a complete schedule of events, visit Downtown Roanoke Inc., Member One's City Market Saturdays.
