Thanks partly to a $50,000 donation from Member One, a division of Virginia Credit Union, Roanoke-based nonprofit Total Action for Progress (TAP) is now offering bus transportation for children participating in TAP’s Head Start and Early Head Start programs.
Virginia Credit Union and its Member One division have named two executives to critical roles overseeing risk management and the credit union’s internal audit function. Mike Brunson will assume the newly created role of Executive Vice President/Chief Risk Officer, and Kenya Maddox has been promoted to Senior Vice President/Chief Audit Officer.
The donations will aid the work and programs of 14 local nonprofits.
Once opened, the branch will mark the 38th location for VACU and its Member One division, a testament to our growth and members' trust in us.

Member One Federal Credit Union’s (Member One) membership has approved a merger with Virginia Federal Credit Union (Virginia Credit Union).
